The hardest thing for me has always been answering the question, "Who are you?" Three simple words and yet so daunting. Not because I don't know who I am but mostly because I never know where to start. See, most people know how to narrow down their interests and tune out most of the rest, I can't. My interests span almost everything under the sun. I want to know and experience everything, and in great detail. The idea of death, even though I've made my peace with it, deeply offends me. I don't want to live forever, no. I just want enough time to experience it all. In an ideal world, I'd own nothing and wander the world learning and uncovering its mysteries. I really believe I could be really happy as a faceless vagabond, sleeping where Apollo's chariots leave me and living off the land, foraging like our ancestors did. There's very little about the life we've created today that appeals to me. This fact alone has made my life a very dissatisfying one, which in turn has turned me into a solution machine. I'm constantly seeing problems around me and the only thing that keeps me from completely losing my mind living in this circus we call a society today, is that, often, I can see a way out. A way for humanity to learn love, empathy kindness, heal from their traumas and actually get to live and not just survive. A way to ease into the future and plan for the rise of AI and the inevitable uselessness that looms over mankind. A way to just exist and really experience this world in all its glory and beauty.
This corner of the internet is just a place for me to share some of my crazy ideas, knowledge and insights, rally a few people who are mad enough to join me in attempting to actually do something about the challenges that currently plague the world, and to raise funds for these projects in the least intrusive ways possible. We have built a ridiculous world where we, apparently the smartest creatures on the globe, have to pay to exist on this planet. And the cost seems to be soaring with each passing day. I foresee a world where nobody will be able to afford to live here without great compromise to their health, experience, and integrity. Oh, wait, we're there already. I think there is a better way. I don't have all the answers or solutions or even know of all the problems. But there are 7.8 billion people on this planet and I'm willing to bet if each of them has a 1000th of a percent of the solution, we can actually intentionally create the world we know we need and deserve and be sure that if we leave our progeny on this earth, they shall have something to inherit other than ashes of our doom.
So who am I? I'm a neurodivergent (HFA and ADHD) Kenyan native who's been blessed with the opportunity to immerse myself in diverse cultures and experiences across three continents: Europe, the UAE, and Africa.
From a young age, I've been captivated by the wonders of both science and art, leading me to coin the term "scieartist" to describe my eclectic interests and pursuits. Whether delving into the intricacies of quantum mechanics or exploring the depths of abstract expressionism, I find joy in the intersection of seemingly disparate disciplines.
Driven by an innate curiosity and a thirst for knowledge, I possess a weird ability to discern patterns amidst the complexities of life. This propensity for pattern recognition, coupled with a solution-oriented mindset, empowers me to approach challenges with creativity and insight.
As an INTP and life path 44 bearer (if you believe in such things), I find I'm guided by a deep sense of purpose and a commitment to personal and collective growth. My general dissatisfaction with the world and the way we have lived so far, has led me into shaping my own philosophy, Experientialism, which celebrates the transformative power of immersive experiences as a pathway to wisdom and enlightenment.
In addition to my philosophical pursuits, I am a passionate social entrepreneur dedicated to addressing pressing global issues. Through various projects and initiatives, I seek to catalyze positive change and foster a more equitable and sustainable world for future generations.
My writing serves as a vehicle for self-expression, advocacy, and inspiration. I aim to spark meaningful dialogue, provoke thought, and mobilize others to action in pursuit of a brighter, more compassionate future.
As an activist at heart, I am committed to standing up for justice, equality, and human rights. I envision a world where every individual is afforded the opportunity to thrive and flourish, and I am dedicated to playing my part in making that vision a reality.
Join me on this journey of exploration, discovery, and transformation. Together, let's co-create a world filled with love, joy, and endless possibilities—a world that embodies the essence of Experientialism.
